Sara Anjargolian
Senior Advisor, Public Sector Reform / Co-founder, Impact Hub Yerevan

Sara Anjargolian was born in London and grew up in California. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Policy and received a law degree from the University of California, Berkeley. During her legal career in the U.S. she served as a trial lawyer for the U.S. Department of Justice and deputy city attorney/policy advisor to the Los Angeles City Attorney. Anjargolian repatriated to Armenia in 2012. In 2014, Anjargolian co-founded the non-profit social enterprise Impact Hub Yerevan and served as its chief executive until joining the Republic of Armenia government in 2019. She also served on the Impact Hub Global Board of Directors. Anjargolian’s tenure in Armenia has also included a Fulbright scholarship from 2002 to 2004, teaching at the American University of Armenia, and working as a multimedia journalist focused on social impact projects from 2009 to 2014. Sara Anjargolian is the former Head of Office/Chief of Staff at the Republic of Armenia’s Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, a position she held for over 2 years. She currently serves as senior advisor on public sector reform to the RA Minister of Health and as a consultant on several Armenia-focused development projects.
