Richard is a principal in a family that believes systemic investing drives positive societal change and, in turn, generates outsized financial returns. Beyond the family’s investments, focused on nature-based systems (water, agrifood, energy and biodiversity), Richard oversees Mlinda and The Good Investors. The former, established in 2005, has developed a systems-based response to renewable energy access and livelihoods in remote rural areas. The latter, launched in 2020, is a cooperative of families who aim to catalyse systems change through shared resources, collective intelligence and joint investing.
